A 28-year-old woman was killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday morning in the Montrose area, according to this report from My News LA.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 5:40 in the morning on Wednesday near the transition road to the southbound Glendale (2) Freeway. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office said she died in the crash, and it took just over 24 hours for the woman’s identity to be released. Such a delay is normal since it’s customary to contact the family before releasing the identity of someone who has died, both out of respect and to get them to definitively identify the body.

Accidents like these happen all the time, in Los Angeles, the greater California area, and across the entire United States. In the blink of an eye, a moment of distraction or inattention can lead to tragedy. In this case, the life of a young woman was lost. There are times when multiple people lose their lives in a single accident.
Even if no one is killed in a traffic accident, those injured may suffer for a long time, dealing with physical therapy and expensive medical bills, not to mention the trauma, both emotional and psychological, victims in major accidents often have to deal with for years that follow.
